Project Name: Kukrahati- Itinda Greenfield Natural Gas Pipeline Project

8Project Description: H- Energy Private Ltd., has been authorized by PNGRB to lay, build and operate the Kukrahati- Itinda natural gas pipeline that will link up to a 5 MMTPA FSRU LNG terminal promoted by Bengal Concessions Pvt. Ltd, an H- Energy subsidiary, at Kukrahati on the Hooghly river. The capacity of the pipeline is 18 MMSCMD. The total length of the pipeline is estimated to be about 125 km. H- Energy was submitted the EOI on January 15, 2018 and elicited a PNGRB authorization in August, 2019. It will also link to the Bangladeshi gas grid, enabling it to access consumers in the west of Bangladesh. Further RFQs are expected soon.
Major equipment are: line pipes, coatings, valves, actuators, scraper traps, Quick Opening End Closure (QOEC), pig signallers, flow tees, insulating joints, induction bends, flowmeters (metering stations), natural gas compressors, filters, ball valves, flanges, seamless fittings, globe valves, check valves, gaskets.
Instrumentation: SCADA, flow pressure and temperature gauges and transmitters, Optical Fiber Cables (OFC).
8Project Event:RFQ for the EIA consultant is expected by December instead of Oct-2019.
