8Project Name: Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Greenfield Project

8Project Description: The owner is carrying out the pre-feasibility report activities for a 900 MW greenfield pumped storage plant (PSP) which envisages re-utilisation of water of the Purulia Dam. S&I activities are underway for preparation of PFR. The owner after finalization of PFR will seek a TOR. Bids for consultancy services for preparation of detailed project report is expected shortly. Moreover, capital approval for the PSP is also expected in Q4 2018.

8Project Name: Thermal Power Station - FGD Addition Project
8Project Cost: 300 crores
8Project Description: The developer is scheduled to install an FGD and retrofitting of ESP for 390 MW (2x195 MW) capacity out of its 610 MW (2x110 + 2x195 MW) thermal power plant. At present, feasibility studies are ongoing. The project is expected to kick off in early 2020. RFQ for supply of FGD is expected to be out by the Q4 2018. The major requirement will be FGD, cranes, pipes, gypsum disposal, wet lime, among others.
8Project Event: RFQs for supply of FGD are expected in Q4 2018.
