NRL's Numaligarh to Itanagar product pipeline: An update

8Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) is planning to lay a product pipeline from Numaligarh to Itanagar with a capacity of 0.5 MMTPA in order to improve petroleum product supply in the North Bank of Brahmaputra. The route length for the proposed pipeline will be around 100 Km and will be passing through the Brahmaputra River. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) will also be required for this project as it crosses several rivers, including the Brahmaputra.
