A new index for Indian LNG cargoes

A new price index for Indian LNG cargoes has been introduced.
8It is called the SLING, named after the famous Singapore Sling, which, in effect, is the SGX LNG Index Group (“Sling”) created by Energy Market Company (“EMC”) and Singapore Exchange (“SGX”) to reflect the price of spot LNG cargoes at selected locations.
8The Indian index has been developed in collaboration with Tullett Prebon, the world’s leading physical LNG broker
